Nicholas T. Ryan
Mr. Ryan serves as founder and President of Concordia Group LLC. Prior to founding the Concordia Group LLC, Mr. Ryan served as a top political advisor for Congressman Jim Nussle (R-Iowa) from 1999-2006. He ran three successful congressional campaigns in Eastern Iowa, winning those campaigns in one of the most challenging congressional districts in the nation.

Following reapportionment in 2002, Mr. Ryan ran what Stu Rothenberg called one of the best run house campaigns in the country in 2002. Ryan also served as Executive Director of Congressman Nussle’s leadership political action committee – the Iowa Priorities Action Committee from 2003 – 2006.

In 2004, Campaigns and Elections magazine name Mr. Ryan one of America’s Rising Political Stars. In addition to his political work, Mr. Ryan also served as Congressman Nussle’s Communications Director in 2001. From 2005-2006, Mr. Ryan ran Congressman Nussle’s campaign for Governor of Iowa.

Mr. Ryan is an active investor, entrepreneur, and has founded or owns an interest in a variety of businesses involved in agriculture, energy and renewable resources, financial services, information technology, and marketing. He is a member of the University of Iowa’s Presidents Club and the Kinnick Society. Mr. Ryan also endowed the Nicholas T. Ryan Family Athletic Scholarship at the University of Iowa.

Mr. Ryan is a graduate of the University of Iowa, where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree and graduated with honors in political science. He received his law degree from Drake University Law School.
